You?re The ?Ye?
So many times we as Christian are waiting for the marching orders. We?re looking to man to tell us when it is time to do God?s will. When we should go and when we should stay. We seem to forget that we have all ready received marching orders in the form of God?s infallible Word. Mt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: In look at this scripture one can see a directive has been given. Upon further investigation you can see that this directive is speaking to you. It?s not saying go to another person and ask permission to do this, it says GO YE; YOU ARE THE ( YE).
So

GO! YE!

Out of the Comfort Zone
Your comfort zone might be your living room, or your bedroom, your job, a night out with the boys or the girls. It might even be your church. Sometimes the things and places we choose for our comfort zone are so bazaar it should be called twilight zone: We maybe stuck in bad social groups and going nowhere, that we sometimes call church functions. That may have started with a cause and purpose but due to time and complacency has grown to a time of fellowship comfort zones, not necessarily Christian. The reason comfort zones are comfort zones is because the enemy does not concern them a threat to his dark kingdom. Put prayer into you area of life that feel comfortable to you and see if the enemy doesn?t make things hot for you. Every room of your house should be prayer closets. The Word of God says Pray without ceasing. That does not mean go around every where praying out loud like at work in the public eye just to bring attention to your self as a prayer warrior. It means be in a prayerful heart at all times. In your Christian group setting get deep intercessory prayers back and pray after God?s heart. If you need a prayer subject that?s after the heart of God, Pray for the nations that they may know Christ.

Coming Home Party

There was a missionary couple that had spent the last 18 years of their life in the mission field. These years were their twilight years, the times of life when most other people in that situation would seek the easy life. But instead they left all the comforts and normalcies that they knew to answer a greater call. There was so large of a need where they went that; with the feeding programs, orphanages, evangelism, sanitary water and living conditions the time went fast. They had virtually no breaks during the entire eighteen years. Finally a younger couple had come to continue the work that had grown with God?s love to a light in a darkened area of the world. As they were making their way back to America they had time to sit back and reflect the work The Lord had done. The man was speaking to his wife about the pastors of all the churches- that had been the new converts at the beginning of their ministry some 18 years earlier. He said with a sigh, God used us for a good thing. His wife said yes, it seems like yesterday we just started down there. The husband said with a raised voice that hinted of joy, I know and finally at long last we are going home! The look on the wife?s face had suddenly changed from the one of warm joy to alarming concern. The husband noticed; as he said what?s wrong honey? The wife looked at the husband with a fear motivated tears in her eye and asks what home? The husband now with a very confused look said what are you talking about?
The wife said don?t you remember we sold our home and other properties before we left just to be able to go? Oh yea it had slipped my mind said the husband. The wife continued- with our son overseas with his family and our daughter is having family problems of her own and we would only add to those problems. The husband said yes that?s true, but what about the people and churches that supported us when we went the jungle in the beginning? The wife said well at first there was support and letters to encourage us, but slowly one by one they all stopped. For the last 11 years we have been living off our savings and they are almost depleted. The man said surely someone would remember and meet us at the border. The wife with a obvious forced smile on her face said in a soft voice you?re probably right honey. The rest of the trip was quite both the man and the woman were thinking of how much God had moved where the mission was at. As they neared the border the husband?s eyes got wide and then narrow to struggle to see if there was any one waiting for them. He saw some colorful banners and a large group of people standing on a hill not far from where they were to enter. He said with excitement to his wife I see people and banners waiting up ahead, they must be for us; you see the people didn?t forget. As they came closer to the border, the buildings block their view. The husband was so excited about the welcome home display that it made the customs officer suspicious and he searched him and his wife and detained them for a while before letting them go. As they made there way though the streets to where he had seen the gathering they could hear the people?s voices getting louder. They turned the Corner where the crowd was at to see a large colorful banner with the words Vote For Gay Rights. They both stop for what seemed to be a long time. Then the man took his wife?s hand and with out saying a word they both turned and slowly walked away
This story is one of those stories that may have happened or may not have happened. The point being things similar to this happen all the time
